Maxx Hitpoints

I just interviewed Ali Larter for my radio show (Mix 98-5 here in Boston) and while she wasn't saying anything specific about the finale, and would not address my inquiries about her seemingly obvious demise, she was trying to convince me that the writers were gonna throw a major monkey wrench into what happens, claiming that this show is best at misdirection and tonight is a major example of it. She also claims that the ending is a total WTF!!!! moment...and can I mention, what a cool lady, classy, fun, and her voice over the phone is AMAZING. lol

i've heard it, but live, and on the phone, i'd "wet my pants" if you catch my drift (kept it PG)

i hope she does die though =[

hmm...sylar DOES want mya's power...but will she be saved upon being resurected? or resurected....die ?

Can Maya even be resurrected if Sylar kills her? If Sylar takes her power, she's going to have to grow a new brain.

So she was right about some misdirection, but also right about the WTF moment...Nathan shot? Whoa. And with Claire no where in sight, there will be no resurrection for Nathan. Who thinks Noah pulled the trigger?

I'm not sure that anyone is actually dead though. You can't be sure of anything on this show. Think on this:

* Nathan was shot a few times - but is he confirmed dead? We've seen characters who took bullets and didn't die (Matt, Noah & DL - all in one episode!)

* Noah was shot through the eye, and apparently dead. We don't know how long it took for him to get his transfusion - but it doesn't seem to take very long after the transfusion before a dead person is raised - see Maya in the S2 finale. She was shot through the throat - most likely dead - and the bullet popped out moments after the injection. Noah was lying on a table in a cell when his eye re-formed thanks to his transfusion - so he had probably been dead a matter of minutes or even hours before he was saved.

* The building Nikki was in exploded - but I don't recall seeing her final moments.

* We still have no concrete evidence that D.L. is dead - he could have phased in a saved her. (Yes, I'm still stuck on that theory - I've been thinking it since the first time we saw Nikki/Micah in the graveyard, and I'm still not completely convinced he's dead!)

* Maya also "fell", but came back to life.

Yeah this true, but Niki and Nathan were ones that "fell"! At least that what they wanted us to believe.
